Summer and winter schools take place between terms or semesters. The one- to three-week program usually includes seminars or workshops on a specific topic or language and activities in the afternoon and on weekends.

Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programs
Students participating in a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) at a European partner university of the University of Siegen are eligible to apply for Erasmus+ funding provided by the International Office.
"GoEast"-Stipendien für Sommer- und Winterschulen
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships to students who participate in a summer or winter school at a university in Estern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia.
Language and Training in PR China
The program is provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and offers scholarships for a ten-month language course in China and a six-month internship at a Chinese or German-Chinese enterprise or at an administrative institution in China.
